Inspection and Maintenance Services
Planning
At KP Turbines, we know an outage is downtime your operation can't afford to waste. Careful planning, pre-outage inspections, and maintenance scheduling are what keep an outage on schedule and as short as possible.
Our team — technicians, engineers, and service advisors who work with these gas turbine platforms every day — starts by getting eyes on your unit: inspecting the site, evaluating current condition, and putting together recommendations to keep your plant running at its best.
Wherever possible, we begin outage planning and parts sourcing well ahead of the scheduled date. That lead time is what lets us line up the right parts, the right resources, and a service team that shows up ready to work — not scrambling.
In-Service Inspection
Every plant runs differently, so our inspection and maintenance services are scoped around what your unit actually needs. Our technical advisors are experienced across the GE heavy-duty gas turbine frames and other major platforms our customers run in power generation, oil & gas, and mechanical drive service.
Our field services include:
-
Combustion inspections, borescope inspections, hot-gas path inspections, and major inspections
-
Vibration analysis and performance monitoring to catch issues before they become failures
-
Multi-year maintenance management programs, built around your outage calendar
-
Renovation and modification (R&M) work to extend equipment life
-
Routine appraisal visits to track unit condition and performance trends over time
-
Outage planning and parts coordination
-
Controls system support and troubleshooting
We maintain the inspection tooling this work requires — borescope and digital imaging equipment, vibration analyzers, and field balancing gear — so our team arrives ready to diagnose, not just observe.
Our goal on every job is the same: shorten the outage, get the most out of the maintenance work performed, and extend the service life of your parts.
Report Out
After every service event, you get a detailed report — findings, condition assessment, and our recommendations for what comes next.
Emergency Outages
Unplanned events don't wait for a convenient time, and neither do we. Our engineers take the time to understand your plant and your team up front, so when something goes down, we can respond fast and get you back online with minimal disruption.
Safety comes first on every site visit — every job is planned and carried out with the safety of your people, your plant, and the environment as the priority.
